◾️ A more familiar tool for everyone
Transmission electron microscopes (TEM) with an accelerating voltage of 120 kV are widely used in the field of soft materials such as biology and polymers. This time, we have newly developed the JEM-120i with the concepts of ``Compact,'' ``Easy To Use,'' and ``Expandable.'' Not only has the appearance been renewed, but it has also evolved into a device that anyone can easily use, from operation to maintenance.

The JEM-120i has been significantly reduced in size, making the filament exchange position and sample holder insertion position lower than before. Furthermore, by developing a cartridge-type filament unit, anyone can easily and safely replace the filament. Additionally, the LED light mounted on the front of the device changes color depending on the status of the TEM, allowing you to check the operating status of the device even from a distance.
・Easy operation - sample observation in simple steps
From inserting the sample to completing observation, it can now be completed in four steps. After inserting the sample holder, click the start button to automatically perform observation preparation operations such as boosting the pressure and turning on the beam. Since a wide-area image is also taken at the same time, stage movement can be completed by simply clicking on the desired field of view. The standard "Butler mode" assists in data acquisition, so even beginners can easily acquire data. At the end of observation, the sample holder can now be replaced without turning off the beam.
・Easy operation - Seamless observation from low to high magnification
With the JEM -120i, the TEM control system has been revised and the aperture is fully automated, making it unnecessary to switch magnification modes and select the aperture. A series of observation operations can be performed more smoothly than before.
・Extensibility
JEM -120i supports various retrofits. We also respond to your needs for adding functions after purchase.
