About This Product

Triple QMS is a new concept that incorporates the technology and experience cultivated in high-performance GC-QMS and 4-sector MS/MS. In addition to single-mode scan measurement and SIM measurement, it is powerful for trace detection and quantitative analysis using high-speed and highly sensitive SRM measurement using proprietary short collision cell technology. ◾️Achieve quick and accurate quantitative analysis with four technologies A short collision cell capable of ion accumulation and instantaneous ion ejection enables quantitative analysis in the mode most suitable for the analysis purpose. The industry-leading fastest SRM speed of 1000 transitions/second allows you to build methods that improve throughput by shortening measurement time. ・Technology 1 Accumulation and instantaneous discharge of ions Ions accumulated in the cell are pulsed and ejected instantly. It has achieved both industry-leading SRM speed and elimination of interfering ions. ・Technology 2 Noise reduction Signal acquisition is synchronized with pulses, reducing noise to an absolute minimum. The deflector just in front of the detector contributes to noise suppression due to neutral molecules. ・New function "Variable discharge cycle mode" When measuring a highly concentrated sample, the linearity of the calibration curve may not be ensured due to saturation of the amount of generated ions. JEOL uses the new function "Variable Emission Cycle Mode" to ensure linearity of the calibration curve over a wide concentration range. ・Technology 3 Fast GC By using a short capillary column with a small internal diameter and rapidly increasing the GC oven temperature, it is possible to shorten measurement time and increase the number of samples processed per hour. "Short collision" technology is effective for measurement methods that require fast transitions due to the narrow peak width of the chromatogram. Time reduction for measuring 266 pesticide components using FastGC A measurement that would take 40 minutes using a regular column could be shortened to 15 minutes using FastGC while maintaining chromatogram separation. ・Technology 4 High performance ion source EPIS* (optional) With the newly designed ion source chamber, we achieved an instrument detection limit of IDL < 0.4 fg (OFN 1 fg) in SRM. By using EPIS, you can expect an order of magnitude improvement in sensitivity compared to standard ion sources.
