◾️“Zeta” 6th generation high-end GC-QMS finally released JEOL's new generation gas chromatograph quadrupole mass spectrometer (GC-QMS) system JMS-Q1600GC UltraQuad™ SQ-Zeta is a 6th generation high-end GC-QMS that brings together the QMS technology cultivated over many years. This is the ultimate high-performance, general-purpose GC-MS that can meet a wide range of measurement and analysis needs, from quantitative analysis such as environment, water quality, and pesticide analysis to qualitative analysis such as material and odor analysis. ◾️Features ・Achieves high sensitivity and overwhelming dynamic range Device detection limit: IDL<5 fg OFN 20 fg was measured 8 times in a row in SIM mode, and the lower detection limit of the device was calculated from the area value of the extracted ion chromatogram and its reproducibility, and a detection limit of 2.6 fg was achieved. ・Wide chromatogram dynamic range When OFN 0.005 to 1,000 pg was measured using a standard EI ion source in SIM mode, good linearity was obtained with a determination coefficient of 0.999 or higher for the calibration curve. The wide dynamic range of more than 5 orders of magnitude is effective not only for quantitative analysis but also for qualitative analysis of mixed samples with different concentrations. ◾️Automatic SIM condition creation function ・Easy and highly sensitive quantitative analysis with Peak Dependent SIM There is no longer any need to perform the troublesome SIM grouping process. Automatic SIM condition creation function Peak Dependent SIM automatically sets the optimal SIM grouping. Anyone can easily perform measurements under optimized SIM conditions. The number of channels per group in SIM measurement can be set to 100, and the number of groups can be set up to 500. ◾️ Unique ion source that expands your solutions High performance EI ion source: Enhanced Performance Ion Source (EPIS) (optional), device detection limit: IDL<1 fg EPIS has achieved high sensitivity by improving the ion source chamber. The device detection limit in EPIS is IDL<1 fg (OFN 5 fg injection, 8 measurements). The industry's highest level of sensitivity provides various benefits such as trace component analysis, simplified concentration work, and reduced sample introduction (reduced contamination). This is an optional EI ion source that can be used not only for quantitative analysis but also for qualitative analysis.
