About This Product

■Overview

The IKO NanoLinear is a moving magnet type linear motor table with a steel movable table section containing magnets and a scale for an optical linear encoder, and a steel bed with a stator coil and a linear encoder head. The table guide uses the IKO Cross Roller Way, a well-established product in the field of small linear motion guides, and the combination of a linear motor and a high-resolution linear encoder achieves high-precision positioning. The use of high-performance neodymium magnets provides significant thrust, enabling high-speed and high-response positioning despite its extremely small size. Furthermore, the innovative cable-free drive system ensures high cleanliness as the only mechanical contact point is the linear motion guide. The NanoLinear is ideal as a compact positioning mechanism for semiconductor and LCD manufacturing equipment, inspection equipment requiring clean environments, and electronic component assembly equipment. ■Excellent Position Repeatability

By employing a roller-type "rack and pinion built-in cross roller way" in the table guide section, high rigidity and pulsation-free operation approaching that of air hydrostatic bearings are achieved. Changes in posture due to movement are extremely small, resulting in excellent position repeatability.

■ Achieves positioning accuracy and running straightness of less than 1 μm

By thoroughly pursuing the precision of all component parts and assembling them precisely, we achieve positioning accuracy and running straightness of less than 1 μm.

■ High speed stability

The combination of an extremely smooth-operating "rack and pinion built-in cross roller way," a coreless moving magnet type linear motor, and a high-performance servo driver achieves high speed stability. (Less than ±1% at 10 mm/s movement)
