- Pushing
Before the operation during pumping, the piston is pushed toward the pipe. Before operation, priming water is required, and that priming water must be filled into a container divided by the piston. When the winged plate of the manually operated section is moved in the direction of pumping, the piston moves, causing a drop in pressure in the area connected to the pump, which is then pumped. In doing so, the part compressed by the piston transports the liquid so that it leaks out of the outlet. - Pullback
During the pull-back, the valve connecting the pipe to the vessel is closed and the valve inside the piston is opened. When pushed back, the fluid in the container moves through the valve so that the piston is in close contact with the end of the container.
