Level Gauges are devices that indicate the boundary between two flowing objects.
The most well-known type indicates the boundary between gas and liquid, and is used to indicate the amount of liquid remaining to be measured, and is called a liquid level gauge.
There are many types of Level Gauges, including the glass gauge type that directly checks the liquid in a glass for the boundary between gas and liquid, and the magnetic float type that floats a float on the liquid surface and checks whether the float moves up or down in accordance with changes in the liquid surface by interlocking it with a rotor.
Level Gauges are used in all types of equipment to check the amount of liquid remaining in tanks that cannot be seen directly.
Most level gauges are installed in equipment, but some, such as oil level gauges for automobiles, are inserted into tanks when necessary.
Level Gauges display the amount of liquid remaining in the tank, while level switches are used to determine whether or not the standard value has been reached.
Level Gauges, such as glass gauge type and magnetic float type, are based on Pascal's principle in physics.
When a Level Gauge is connected to the tank and a portion of the fluid flows into the gauge, the liquid level in the tank and the liquid level in the gauge are at the same height.
Even if it is impossible to directly check the inside of the tank, this principle can be used to check the level of the liquid in the tank, and the glass gauge type directly reads this level visually.
The magnetic float type has the same basic principle, but it is characterized by the fact that the float is floated on the fluid to indirectly check the level of the float.
Since a float is floated on the liquid surface and changes in the float are checked indirectly, the glass gauge type is not susceptible to breakage or leakage, which were disadvantages of the glass gauge type, and since the vertical movement can be converted into an electrical signal, it is possible to transmit when an abnormal value is detected.
