What Is a Rough Guide?
A rough guide is one of the jig parts used in machine tools, assembly machines, inspection machines, etc., to fix products.
In a broad sense, the purpose of using a rough guide is to determine the position of a product to a certain degree in advance of precise positioning.
It is mainly used when a worker sets a product on a jig, not when a robot sets a product.
The use of a rough guide has the advantage of speeding up the precision positioning process, since the product can be automatically fixed in a certain position.
