■ Vast modeling area
The FX20 ™ has a 84L build chamber, and the maximum maximum modeling size is 525mm x 400mm x 400mm. This is a product with the largest modeling area of 3D printers provided by Markforged, and can be shaped in integrated parts without splitting.
■ Achievement of strength improvement
The FX20 ™ can use the Ultem ™ 9085 filament, a high -performance thermoplastic material. In addition, Markforged's unique CFR (Continuous Fiber ReinforceMent) technology allows you to reinforce parts with continuous carbon fiber and increase its strength. As a result, it is possible to respond to strict demands such as automobiles, defense, aerospace, petroleum and gas industry.
■ High quality modeling by precision polishing vacuum bed
The FX20 ™ is equipped with a reusable print sheet and a huge precision polishing vacuum bed. This vacuum bed holds the print sheet uniformly and does not move the parts during the print, improving the quality and accuracy of the modeling model. In addition, the vacuum bed enables the stable part of the parts during the print, prevent the distortion of parts, and guarantees high quality output.
■ Modeling process
3D prints with FX20 ™ are performed by combining two different materials. The resin material forms a surface, and fiber materials such as carbon fiber reinforce the inside. With the CFR technology developed by Markforged, it is possible to 3D printed more durable parts than general 3D prints.
■ Software
The "EIGER" slicer software optimized for Markforged 3D printers can slice various composite materials, although it is easy to operate. In addition, it has a function to centrally manage all processes from design to molding.
