What Is a Stopper Bolt?
A stopper bolt is a bolt that positions a workpiece or serves as a stopper.

Principle of Stopper Bolts
Because of its basic role as a stopper, carbon steel such as "S45C or equivalent" is used as the material of the main body, including the contact surface. The contact surfaces are often hardened.
To ensure air resistance, an iron tetroxide coating is applied. Lock nuts used on the piers are also made of SS400 with trivalent chromate treatment.
Examples of touch switch specifications include a contact type contact structure, a stroke of 0.7 mm, an operating point of approximately 0.3 mm from the stopper surface, and an operating point repeatability of 0.01 mm (range) for both ON and OFF. Specifications include a contact accuracy life of 10 million cycles, static load resistance/shock energy resistance of 5000 N/0.4 J, contact rating of 5 V DC to 24 V DC, and a steady-state current of 10 mA or less (inrush current of 20 mA or less).
