An SNMP trap receiver is a device that monitors and controls information such as fault and operation signals from a terminal on a network.
The receiver is connected to a terminal with a contact input and receives signals via a network environment, and because it is web-based, it can monitor remotely and quickly detect abnormal conditions.
SNMP trap receivers are used to centralize and monitor terminal devices with multiple remote contact inputs.
They can monitor and control contact-affiliated devices such as cameras, lights, switches, and client terminals in monitoring centers as well as distributed processing on servers in remote locations. They are also used to monitor abnormalities in water levels using switches, and for crime and security measures in conjunction with webcam and sensor motion detection.
When an abnormal situation occurs, the system can send out a warning to all terminals at once via e-mail or server and control the output in conjunction with the warning.
SNMP trap receivers are equipped with an internal communication module and have a structure with multiple contact inputs and outputs.
The built-in communication module allows multiple terminals to be monitored remotely via a network. They can detect abnormalities that occur at remote sites and notify multiple PCs and cell phone terminals of the abnormalities simultaneously via e-mail.
