About This Product

A large 3D printer with an 84L heat chamber and precision polishing vacuum bed. You can create parts that are both strong and lightweight using resin and fibers such as carbon fiber. Compatible with materials such as VEGA™, which can withstand high temperatures, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from production to aerospace.

■Vast modeling area

FX20™ is equipped with an 84L build chamber, and the maximum build size is 525mm x 400mm x 400mm. This product has the largest printing area among the 3D printers provided by Markforged, and can print parts as one unit without having to separate them.

■Achievement of strength improvement using VEGA™

FX20™ is available with VEGA™ filament, a high performance thermoplastic material. Additionally, Markforged's proprietary CFR (Continuous Fiber Reinforcement) technology allows parts to be reinforced with continuous carbon fibers, increasing their strength. As a result, it can meet the demanding demands of the automotive, defense, aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

■High quality modeling using precision polishing vacuum bed

The FX20™ features a reusable printed sheet and a huge precision polishing vacuum bed. This vacuum bed holds the print sheet evenly and prevents parts from moving during printing, improving the quality and accuracy of printed models. The vacuum bed also allows the part to remain stable during printing, preventing part distortion and ensuring high quality output.

■FX20™ modeling process

3D printing with FX20™ is done by combining two different materials. A resin material forms the surface, and a fibrous material such as carbon fiber reinforces the interior. The CFR technology developed by Markforged makes it possible to 3D print parts that are more durable than standard 3D printing.
