About This Product

■FeaturesVHB™ Acrylic Foam Tape is a new concept bonding material that combines a flexible and tough acrylic foam base material, obtained through special technology, with an acrylic adhesive on both sides that offers excellent weather resistance and chemical resistance. It provides strong adhesion for bonding various industrial materials while simultaneously adding numerous value-added features.

It follows the deformation of the bonded area, leaving no residual stress.

It has high peel strength that absorbs rebound forces.

It is a room-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive type.

It prevents stress concentration through surface bonding.

It has high sealing performance.

It has excellent weather resistance and can be used outdoors.

It has excellent vibration absorption.

It can be processed into any shape and tape width; please consult us.

■How to Use1. Remove oil, moisture, dust, and dirt from the surface of the material to be bonded (substrate).
To ensure the tape performs to its full potential, please apply sufficient pressure and curing. The recommended bonding load is 50N (approximately 5kgf) or more per 1cm² of tape using a press or roller or other jig. The recommended curing period is 72 hours or more at room temperature.
Bonding at low temperatures may result in insufficient adhesion; therefore, it is recommended to work in an environment of 15°C or higher. Also, when bringing cold products and substrates indoors during winter work, take sufficient care to prevent condensation.
For substrates that are difficult to bond, adhesion may be improved with a dedicated primer; please consult us.
Please store indoors away from direct sunlight. Although this product is made of highly durable materials, please store it in an environment that avoids high temperatures and high humidity as much as possible. The recommended storage environment is a temperature of 30°C or lower and a humidity of 70% or lower.
