About This Product

The ViaLight™ Plus Cell Proliferation and Cytotoxicity Bioassay Kit is designed to be fast, sensitive, and safer than traditional radiation methods. The ViaLight™ kit detects intracellular ATP (adenosine triphosphate) bioluminescence to measure cell viability. The ViaLight™ protocol, like other viability assay kits, requires no shaking and is quick and easy to use. Compared to conventional products, a stable luminescent signal with higher brightness can be obtained for a longer period of time, allowing for more flexible experimental planning. The simple two-step assay is available in 96-well or 384-well formats for high-throughput processing and is compatible with many luminometers or scintillation counters. ViaLight™ MDA Plus Microbial Growth and Toxicity Kit is optimized for bacteria and yeast. The basic reaction is the same as the ViaLight™ Plus kit, but the lysis reagents are optimized for bacteria and yeast. Sensitivity is 1,000 bacterial cells or 100 yeast cells per well.
