■Product Description

A laminated-sheet book (goshi-bon) is made by printing two consecutive pages on one side of a sheet, folding each sheet in two so that the printed surfaces face inward, and then pasting the folded sheets together to form a single book block. It has the advantages of lying flat, which makes it easy to read, and of being durable. This binding method is used for picture books, photo books, and similar products. For laminated-sheet books, starch-based adhesives and emulsion-type adhesives are generally used.
