In standard TEM mode, image capture is done with a QImaging Retiga4000R. It is a high-sensitivity digital camera equipped with a 2,048 x 2,048 pixel progressive scan interline CCD. Image capture software is designed for high-performance image data acquisition, documentation, and analysis. Various image processing procedures are available such as averaging, live FFT and automatic contrast adjustment. ■SEM mode The backscattered electron detector is designed to enable scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy in parallel and is integrated directly into the electron optical column.
