An inductive proximity sensor uses magnetic force to open and close switches without contacting the object to be detected.
The main types are reed switches, vall elements, and magnetoresistive element-based methods. Features of these sensors include non-contact detection, easy adjustment of the detection distance (by increasing the magnetic force), no mutual interference, long life, and small size.
