There are two fundamental types of lamp holders: socket type and screw type. In the socket type, a socket is provided, and the lamp is inserted into the socket, making electrical contact and securely holding the lamp in place. In the screw type, a threaded screw mechanism is used to fix the lamp securely to the holder.
