About This Product

Flameproof explosion-proof construction with 2D code support. Ideal for work in hazardous areas

The THIR-3000EX is a lightweight 2D code reader that uses a plastic flameproof enclosure. A high-performance processor enables stable, high-speed reading in any environment. With excellent environmental resistance, the protective construction is an IP65 dust-tight (no dust ingress) and jet-proof (direct jets of water) model. It handles not only barcodes but also 2D codes, making it a state-of-the-art 2D code reader that streamlines work and enables traceability management in hazardous areas.

■Notice of a minor change to the THIR-3000EXSales of the minor-change version of the THIR-3000EX begin in spring 2023.
The changes from the previous V2 model to the new V3 model are as follows. See the instruction manual for details.
