Deltec's fully enclosed stainless steel bearing units provide stainless steel bearing units used in the most demanding environments in the food and beverage industry. These environments require strict cleaning regulations to remove contaminants and reduce the spread of germs.
Deltec's fully enclosed stainless steel bearing units provide a bearing solution for these demanding environments. These bearing units are made from stainless steel 316 and are double sealed with O-rings and oil seals. Additionally, Deltec's fully enclosed stainless steel bearing units are designed to withstand frequent cleaning.
Additionally, the new bearing unit solves many problems associated with traditional maintenance.
■Product features
The bearing housing is designed to avoid crevices and recesses where dirt and bacteria can accumulate or become trapped. The housing has no sharp corners and all surfaces are angled to prevent water retention. The flat side of the housing can be used to attach the housing with Deltec hygienic bolts and seals.
The smooth surface of the housing plays an important role for easy cleaning and drainage. The end cover is supplied with an O-ring and oil seal to provide maximum hygiene protection. The back seal provides additional seal protection to protect the bearing unit from contamination from the shaft side.
All units are lubricated with NSF approved food grade grease and the high quality grease is registered by the NSF as a category H1 grease. Optional spacers allow standard bearing housings to be easily converted to 'standoffs'.
