About This Product

All-side shaving of wood, lamina shaving, sawing, flooring, grooving, chamfering...Materials include solid wood, laminated wood, MDF, and other wood-based materials. The processing details differ depending on the customer, but if you use a Weinig molder, you can get a beautiful finished surface in one shot, and the processing accuracy is also outstanding. Based on our many years of experience and know-how, we pursue comfortable and safe workability. Designed so that anyone can use it, setup work for the next process takes only a short time, increasing production efficiency.

■Excellent performance in both high-speed production and multi-product production.

In factories that use molders to simultaneously produce a wide variety of products and produce large quantities in bulk, separate molders were previously required for each. It was extremely uneconomical because the installation cost and running cost were doubled. However, Weinig's technology has improved and the Power Mat series has been introduced. This series includes the Powermat 2400, and with just one molder, it is now possible to handle both multi-product production and mass batch production. When performing multiple types of machining, the setup work that used to be complicated can be easily carried out one after another. Equipped with a new blade attachment/detachment system called the ``Power Lock System'' and an operating system called the ``Power Com System,'' setup can be completed quickly and economically. Additionally, as additional options, it is possible to increase the shaft rotation speed to 10,000 rpm and equip it with a honing device. Using these will increase the cutting efficiency of the blade. This makes it possible to achieve high production speeds of up to 100 m/min while maintaining an excellent finish.
