About This Product

■Summary

Hallite's VSC is a spring loaded type internal pressure face seal. It consists of a U-shaped seal jacket and a V-shaped spring. Suitable for a wide range of flange applications from low to high pressures at high temperatures, sub-zero temperatures, or low speed rotation. At low or low pressures, the V-spring provides the necessary spring force on the sealing lip to create the appropriate contact pressure. When the operating pressure increases, the U-shaped area receives the system pressure and affects the sealing performance at high pressure. VSC has a long life and is compatible with a wide temperature range. It also has excellent chemical resistance making it ideal for all flange applications.
