About This Product

■Summary

HTCC is an abbreviation for High Temperature Co-fired Ceramics. A ceramic multilayer circuit board with superior bending strength and thermal conductivity compared to LTCC. Because platinum is used for the conductor, plating is not required and it is suitable for plasma generators and medical applications that require biocompatibility. Recommended for the following uses.

■Ceramic circuit board for plasma (ozone) generator

Ozone, which is used for disinfection and deodorization, is created by applying a high voltage between electrodes and discharging it. The alumina multilayer wiring board uses highly insulating alumina as its base material and platinum, which has high chemical stability, as the electrode material. Therefore, it can demonstrate sufficient performance even in harsh operating environments.

■Ceramic package for MEMS sensors

Small sensors using MEMS technology are being put into practical use, and highly reliable packaging is one of the key technologies. In particular, for sensors that can be used in harsh environments such as high temperatures and corrosive gases, it is important to have electrodes that can withstand such environments. Alumina multilayer wiring boards use platinum and can be used with mounting techniques such as wire bonding, soldering, and brazing without plating. Platinum electrodes have high thermal and chemical stability, so there is no need to worry about performance deterioration even in harsh environments.

■Ceramic package for LED

Ceramic has higher thermal conductivity than resin, making it ideal for LED packages that require good heat dissipation. Features

■New HTCC using platinum electrodes

・Because it is a chemically very stable metal, it is difficult to oxidize and can be used in various environments such as high temperatures. ・Since surface treatment such as plating is not required, it is environmentally friendly (SDGs) compliant and achieves low cost. ・Because the material has excellent biocompatibility

■Widely adopted in the medical field

・The catalytic effect of platinum can be expected. ・Higher strength with higher alumina content than general HTCC. Ceramic itself has advantages such as high thermal conductivity and low dielectric loss. ・High dimensional accuracy (±0.3%)

■Products used

・Plasma (ozone) generator ・Medical use ・Small package parts such as sensors, etc. *The item values are representative values and are not guaranteed values.
