ALZA®, a composite substrate of alumina and zirconia, is a high-strength, high-toughness material. Due to its excellent electrical and thermal properties, it is suitable for applications that require reliability, such as automobiles, industrial equipment such as machine tools, and IGBT power modules.
ALZA® is a registered trademark of our alumina-zirconia substrate.
■Features
High-strength and flexible ALZA® has more than 1.5 times the bending strength of our alumina substrates. The plate thickness can be reduced to a maximum of 150μm, and thermal resistance in the thickness direction can be reduced. Also, due to its dense and fine structure, it has an excellent surface smoothness.
