About This Product

Liquid Crystal Magna can print up to 16 mm in height per hour, and its patented blow peel technology allows it to be easily removed from the vat after printing without damaging the finished product. In addition, the patented LCD screen light source technology enables high-resolution, uniform illumination over a wide area to cure materials, enabling faster builds. Ideal for customizing prosthetic limbs and manufacturing large-sized parts such as injection molds, it enables rapid prototyping and mass production.

■Features

・High-speed, high-precision molding of prototypes, final parts, and mass production ・Bring out higher performance with a special resin cleaner ・Simple and very easy to use, recommended for beginners

■What is the LCD method?

This is a modeling method that uses a projector to irradiate ultraviolet light onto a surface rather than in a line like a beam, and its biggest feature is its printing speed. UV resin is placed in a tray, and a projector is used to irradiate the surface with a laser from below, layer by layer on the platform and printed. Once curing is complete, the object is suspended from the platform. Since it is made to be suspended, support materials are required. By being able to harden the surface at once according to the slice data, the printing speed becomes faster. Also, because it cures on a surface, the printing time is the same whether you are curing a single object or multiple objects at once. Photocentric's 3D printer uses a series of LEDs as a light source, shining nearly collimated light through an LCD panel. It is very efficient because the entire surface is exposed at the same time.
