■Introducing the world's lightest, smallest, fastest, and highly accurate handheld X-ray fluorescence analyzer X-500 series.
The SciAps X-500 series is the world's lightest, smallest, fastest, most accurate XRF analyzer family. The X-550 comes with a patented aluminum app that can classify all aluminum, including low magnesium aluminum, in 1-2 seconds. (3003/3004/3005, 356 and 357, 6022 and 5005, etc.)
The X-Series is built on Google's Android platform and can export data in real time anywhere on the planet. The user interface feels like a smartphone, with a clear display that makes it easy to see results and the ability to invert light and dark in all lighting conditions.
Built-in Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB mean users can email and connect to virtually any information management system from the X-Series for efficient test data and reporting.
It is lightweight at approximately 1.5Kg and has a battery that can be used continuously for approximately 4 hours, and one spare battery is also included as standard. A camera that allows observation of the analysis section is also equipped as standard.

X-ray fluorescence analysis is a method in which when a material is irradiated with primary X-rays using an X-ray tube, fluorescent X-rays (secondary radiation) with wavelengths specific to the elements in the material are emitted. Therefore, it is an elemental analysis method that performs qualitative analysis of the elements contained in a substance based on the wavelength, and quantitative analysis based on the intensity of fluorescent X-rays at each wavelength.
