About This Product

■Ready to Use with No Setup RequiredThe required settings are configured before shipment, so the scanner can be used as soon as it is unpacked. Just connect it to your POS and it automatically detects the interface and connects to the scanner. It supports 97 keyboard types worldwide, so it is easy to use anywhere.

■Low-Cost Charging SystemTablet-based POS systems have the functions needed to add high-quality scanning. Using a Micro USB cable instead of a cradle enables low-cost charging.

■Easy to Customize SettingsSettings can be customized using the 123Scan software tool (free of charge) . Its intuitive operation makes it easy even for first-time users. All settings can be combined into a single programming barcode, so configuration is done with one scan.

■High Reading PerformanceZebra's exclusive PRZM makes it possible to read even poor-quality barcodes. The omnidirectional scanning function also covers a wide range (from 1.23 cm to 36.8 cm) , so there is no need to align the scanner with the barcode, reducing the operator's workload.

■Patent-Pending Aiming Line GuideBecause it resembles the aiming line of a 1D scanner, it can be used with the same feel as before.
In addition, the aiming line guide is displayed, so scanning can be done at the optimal distance from the barcode. This is convenient when scanning wide barcodes.

■Fast, Easy ChargingWhen connected to a host or a standard power outlet via Micro USB, charging takes just one hour. With the presentation cradle for hands-free scanning, charging takes four hours and work can continue while charging. The presentation cradle needs no separate power supply, so there is no need to purchase or manage additional accessories.

■The Illumination Flashes on a Successful ScanWhen a barcode is read correctly, the illumination flashes, so success can be confirmed visually at a glance.

■Instant Switching Between Handheld and Hands-FreeSimply placing the scanner in the presentation stand switches it automatically to hands-free mode for fast reading. Switching is possible regardless of whether you are using the corded DS2208 or the cordless DS2278.
