■Overwhelming Cost PerformanceAs a barcode reader (barcode scanner) capable of reading from LCD screens such as those of smartphones and tablets, it offers overwhelming cost performance. Because it is a middle-range barcode reader, unlike touch-type readers it can read from a slight distance.
*If the barcode is small or fine, you need to move closer.

■Supports GS1 Healthcare BarcodesJapan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announced a partial revision of the "Guidelines for Implementing Barcode Labeling on Ethical Drugs", and in principle barcode labeling for medical and pharmaceutical products changed significantly by April 2021. For management using product codes only, this product is the least expensive pharmaceutical barcode reader that can still be used after the revision.

■Barcode Data EditingSettings such as customizing the addition of characters at the beginning or end of barcode data (suffix and prefix) are possible. There are no difficult settings - configuration is done simply by reading barcodes from the manual.

■Lightweight, Compact HousingThe unit weighs only 90 g. Light and designed to fit the hand, it allows work to continue for long hours without fatigue. Although thin and light, the housing is very sturdy and offers excellent resistance to shocks such as drops.

■Easy Connection, Easy SetupBecause the reader is recognized through keyboard emulation, no driver is required. No special settings are needed - simply connect it and it is ready to use. The setup manual supplied with the product is entirely in Japanese. Settings such as the line feed code can easily be configured using the supplied manual.
