■Linear drive unit RG type (rolling ring drive unit/traverse)

Feeding device, guide device, reciprocating device using plain shaft. It is mainly used as a guide for parallel winding of wire rods, tapes, etc. The rotary motion of a round bar rotating at a constant speed and in a constant direction is converted into linear motion to obtain reciprocating motion. The round bar does not require screws, and the tilt direction is constant.By pressing a special bearing against the shaft, linear motion can be obtained. In addition, by changing the direction of the bearing, the direction of motion can be changed by rotating the shaft. These movements are the same as those of screws and nuts, but the movement speed (pitch) can be set freely, and the direction of movement can be reversed at any position.

- Pitch can be changed by changing the inclination of the bearing. ・High speed and smooth feeding can be obtained. ・No backlash. ・Safety mechanism that causes the unit to slip in the event of an unexpected collision. - Can be released from the shaft using the contact free lever. ・No control required, no dedicated power required (by obtaining power from parallel rotating shafts with a belt, etc.) ・You can choose between with and without brackets as required.
