■SummaryIn 1999, we succeeded in developing a phasing friction welding machine using servo control of the spindle rotation, and in 2000 we also succeeded in developing servo control of thrust.
Since then, with many achievements and repeated improvements, it has developed into the current FF-NS series.

■Process①Initial process
Set the materials on both sides, rotate one material, and advance the other material into contact.

②Frictional heat generation process
Frictional heat is generated from the butt surfaces. Spindle rotation is suddenly stopped when the temperature suitable for welding is reached.

③Upset process
Welding is completed by applying upset thrust for a certain period of time. At that time, curl-shaped burrs are generated.
