About This Product

■Rotational torsional acceleration pickup

Designed to measure geometry errors in rotating structures such as end-of-line gear and transmission inspection. The TAC15 torsional acceleration pickup measures the object under load. This allows you to evaluate noise-related geometry errors. TAC15 measures velocity changes using the torsional acceleration method. Two methods of error detection can be employed. ・Indirect: Evaluation of angular deviation to ideal transmission against DIN 3960 ・Direct: Measurement of torsional angular velocity. The result as a numerical value proportional to the load generated by the bearing through assembly vibration.

■Features

The TAC15 torsional accelerometer consists of a part that is fixed to the test stand and a ring that fits over the rotating axle of the test stand. The fixed part supplies power to the ring via magnetic induction and receives sensor data via infrared LEDs. Those signals are collected in software and all lateral accelerations are canceled out. The ring contains the A/D converter and necessary analysis.

■Function

Easy installation: Since the casing can be separated, it can be easily installed on a shaft or axis without modifying the evaluation target. It can accommodate a wide range of shaft diameters, and the selectable range is shown below. ・Up to 60mm ・60～75mm ・75～90mm
