About This Product

■Features

When a door or other object is closed, the latch engages with the keeper, locking it in place. At this time, the keeper presses against the switch plate, turning the microswitch ON (COM (yellow) - NO (blue)). Energizing the solenoid releases the latch lock (red-white: DC24V). Only the lock is released; the latch itself does not operate. In this state, pulling the door or other object will detach the keeper from the latch. When used in combination with various locks, it can be unlocked with a key in emergencies (locks and keys are not included with this product). The mounting holes are countersunk on both sides, allowing for installation on either the left or right side.

■Applications

Measuring instruments, office automation equipment, management boxes, etc.

■Precautions

When setting the keeper, ensure there is clearance between the latch and the keeper; do not use it in a way that constantly applies tension to the latch. The usable keeper plate thickness is t3.0 to t3.2. When determining the keeper's position and plate thickness, please pay attention to the maximum stroke and energization start position of the switch plate shown in the diagram. This product does not include a keeper.
