About This Product

For more reliable locking and unlocking… we've extended the stroke and increased the suction power.

■Features

This latch unit incorporates a solenoid. It features a longer stroke and higher suction power than conventional products. Locking is achieved by pushing the door, and unlocking is achieved by applying power. The solenoid has a connector-equipped lead wire for easy wiring. • Longer Stroke The stroke is 6mm. It reaches the keeper securely for reliable locking. This is 1mm longer than our standard TL-259 of comparable size. This 1mm difference expands design possibilities. • Powerful Suction Power Despite the long 6mm stroke, it boasts exceptional suction power. A powerful suction force of over 3.44N ensures reliable unlocking. It has approximately 1.7 times the power of our standard TL-259 of comparable size. • Emergency Unlocking Capable When combined with a lock, it allows unlocking during power outages.

■Applications

Distribution panels, switchboards, control panels, lockers, etc.

■ Precautions

Do not use the latch with the latch facing upwards (top). The latch may not function. When mounting this product with M3 screws, be careful not to let the screw tip come into contact with the solenoid. (Screw to use: mounting plate thickness + 2mm) For use in situations involving "long-term energization" or "frequent energization/de-energy switching," please evaluate the product under actual usage conditions and confirm that the latch returns from the retracted position. (Check for the effects of residual magnetism.) Remove any load on the latch when the product is energized.
