About This Product

■OverviewShin-Etsu Silicone "KE-348" is a one-component RTV silicone rubber adhesive widely used mainly for bonding and sealing in electrical, electronic, transportation equipment, and machinery applications.

■Key Points of KE-348・Excellent electrical properties, including withstand voltage and resistance.
・Usable over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +180°C.
・It begins to cure in about 2 minutes, and curing can be confirmed after about 24 hours.
・Leave it to cure for about 3 days to reach mechanical strength, and about 7 days to develop its full properties including electrical characteristics.
・After curing, its excellent rubber elasticity absorbs vibration and impact.
・With excellent UV resistance, ozone resistance, and water resistance, it barely degrades even after long-term outdoor exposure to wind and rain.
・The product is filled into tubes and similar containers, so the work is easy: just squeeze it out.
・"RTV" stands for "Room Temperature Vulcanizing", meaning it cures at room temperature.
