About This Product

■ Overview

This is a MEX (material extraction layer) 3D printer made of PEI (polyeter -ear) resin with excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, and high temperature. PEI resin (Ultem ™ resin) is a super engineering plastic with very good characteristics. HP Filament® (PEI ULTEM type) is a filament that produced a PEI resin (ULTEM) with excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, and high temperature at high temperature for MEX type 3D printers. PEI (ULTEM) has excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, strength, flame-retardant (UL94 V-0), low-smoke, and especially for enthusiasm, the loading temperature is 200 ° C or more and the UL long-term use temperature is or more. It can be used continuously in the usage environment at high temperature, as indicated 170 ° C or higher. Regarding the mechanical strength, the decrease is small at high temperatures, and it boasts the highest level of strength as a thermoplastic resin. In addition, 3D printers have less warpage than PEEK. We have a lineup of "1010-1000" and "9085-1100", which are widely used among Ultem ™ resins, as a 3D printer filament, and weighs 100g and 500g. In addition, since we use special bobbins with excellent heat resistance, it is possible to dry at high temperatures with the filament wrapped around bobbin. Please use our filament for PEI (Ultem) modeling in the MEX method 3D printer.

■ Heat resistance

The loading temperature is 200 ° C or higher, and the long -term use temperature of UL indicates 170 ° C or higher.

■ Electrical characteristics

Dealing rate and dielectric loss are stable in a wide range of temperature and frequency band. It also has high insulation destruction strength.

■ flame retardancy

The oxygen index is 47 or more, and the UL94V-0 is shown with low smoke.

■ Processing

In the D print, it has less warpage than PEEK and is excellent in modeling.

■ Dimension stability

It indicates a very low line expansion coefficient in a wide range of temperature range.

■ strength

Indicates a very high mechanical strength. Even at high temperatures of 150 ° C or higher, the strength decreases.
