We manufacture monovilents with PE (polyethylene) and PP (polypropylene) as the main raw material.
Usually, threads used for clothing are called multifilates. Multifilament is a single thread with a large number of fibers combined. Monofilament, on the other hand, is also called a single fiber, and one thread is made of one fiber. The thread used for fishing and stockings is a typical example of monofilament.
The monofilament of Marusan Chemical Kogyo is used for tatami edges and body towels, which are specialty products of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.
