■Compliant with safety standards- As a photoelectric sensor that complies with safety standards, it can be retrofitted to improve safety or installed in a small space.
・Sensor alone complies with ISO 13849-1*1 (Category 1, PLc)*2
・Category 3, PLd can be constructed by combining with a category 4, PLe compatible controller.

■Category 3, PLd construction example- Requires duplication of sensors: If this product is used alone, the safety system may not function if a sensor malfunction occurs.
・Please note: It cannot be used for human body detection. Cannot be used for manual opening/closing doors. It cannot be used as a safety door switch.

■Thinness 3.5mmW10×H14.5×D3.5mm (transmissive type/flat ON). Since it is the smallest size sensor, it can be installed anywhere with a small amount of space.

■Free installationThe diffuse reflection type is a flat ON type that can be used as if it were attached to a wall. The transparent type is available in two types: flat ON type and side ON type, and can be installed freely.

Narrow beam type is available. The spread of light is approximately 1/2 that of the standard type [EX-□S□]
■Reduced interference without slits, allowing narrow pitch installationThe mounting pitch can be halved compared to conventional models, allowing close installation. There are no slit purchase/installation costs.

■It is possible to detect minute workpieces of φ0.5mm without a slit.Supports small workpiece detection applications without increasing costs.

■Narrow beam enables long-distance detection of 1mAchieved long-distance detection of 1m with a narrow beam.

■Power savingThe EX-10 series achieves up to 65% lower current consumption than conventional products. It also contributes to environmental protection.

■Fast response 0.5msIdeal for detecting small parts and high-speed moving objects.
