The digital color mark sensor LX-100 series enables high-precision sensing with a coaxial reflective optical system and a sharp spot of approximately 1 mm x 5 mm, making it possible to stably detect marks such as register marks (phototube marks).

■Optimal LED automatic selection function

The three LED colors of R, G, and B have special combinations of color discrimination. The digital color mark sensor LX-100's mark mode is equipped with an ``optimal LED automatic selection function'' that automatically selects the LED with the highest contrast (S/N ratio) between the mark and the background for optimal detection. LEDs are selected based on the contrast rather than the difference in the amount of reflected light between the mark and the background, allowing for more stable detection.

■Two detection modes to choose from depending on your application

・Mark mode [Ultra-fast response]: A detection mode that automatically selects one of the three LEDs (R, G, B) (single color) and achieves an ultra-fast response of 45 μs. The optimal LED automatic selection function automatically selects the optimal LED for detection. Ideal for detection that requires high speed. ・Color mode [high-precision discrimination]: All three LEDs (R, G, and B) are turned on, and the color of the mark is discriminated with high precision based on the ratio of R, G, and B of the reflected light. Effective for detecting films with patterns around marks. *Selection of mark mode/color mode is performed by key operation.

■High precision mark color discrimination

The color mode of the digital color mark sensor LX-100 uses all three R, G, and B color LEDs, and distinguishes mark colors based on the ratio of R, G, and B. The built-in 12-bit A/D converter enables high-precision judgment with a resolution of 1/4,000.

■Easy settings with digital display. Setting contents can be managed numerically

The 4-digit digital display allows you to check the amount of light entering the mark and the base. In addition, since the threshold value can be managed numerically, it is easy to create a manual. By displaying the direct code, you can check the settings, which is useful for maintenance in remote locations.
