■Industry standard mounting pitch

The mounting pitch of the three types of sensor heads is 25.4mm, which is the same industry standard as the general-purpose beam sensor CX-400 series Ver.2. The mounting bracket can be used as is when replacing a general-purpose beam sensor with a laser sensor.

■Easy spot adjustment [Long distance spot reflection type/Long distance line reflection type]

A spot adjustment volume is equipped on the "back" of the sensor head, so you can easily adjust it while looking at the spot. Also, since it is adjusted using a screwdriver, there is no need to accidentally turn it by hand during maintenance.

■FDA / JIS / IEC class 1 type lineup [LS-H91 (F) -A, LS-H21 (F) -A]

Class 1 type visible light spot. Optical axis alignment is easy.

■Optical axis fine adjustment fittings available [MS-CX-11]

Even after the sensor is installed, fine adjustments of 4° each in the vertical and horizontal directions are possible. It can be installed in two directions: vertical and horizontal.

■Easy to set up and dual display

Equipped with two large 4-digit digital displays. You can easily set the optimal threshold (displayed in green) while checking the current amount of incident light (displayed in red).

■Simple operation with two switches

There are only two operation switches: a large MODE key and a large jog switch.

■Wiring/space saving

One-touch cable allows for wiring savings (connector type). The number of connection points and man-hours for relay terminal blocks can be reduced, contributing to space savings. In addition to the LS-400 series amplifier, it is also possible to horizontally connect with connector type amplifiers such as the digital fiber sensor FX-500 series and digital pressure sensor DPS-400 series.

■Introducing a new type with host communication function that facilitates maintenance and preventive maintenance [LS-403]

Network communication possible: Connectable to open networks CC-Link/DeviceNet/EtherCAT via open network compatible communication unit SC-GU3 series. Monitoring and various settings can be performed from a PLC, computer, etc.
