About This Product

basic information

■TOF sensor module is built into an aluminum die-cast case that is both light and strong. Distance is measured by the time it takes to receive light, and one model supports a dynamic range of 250 to 3,000 mm.

■Stable detection with distance measurement method

Equipped with a 7-segment display on the main body, the actual detection distance is digitally displayed in mm units. By quantifying the detection status, anyone can set the optimal threshold without any variation.

■Digital display of actual measured values

Measure distance and display in mm.

■Measure the distance to the workpiece

・Less affected by material and color. ・It is possible to check the number of stacked items and detect the position.

■Equipped with analog output

- Outputs measured values ​​to external equipment (analog voltage: 0 to +5V, analog current: +4 to +24mA). - Data can be acquired from any measurement range using analog scaling settings. Use spotlights differently depending on the scene

■Light spot confirmation mode

Work efficiency is improved by using the optimal spotlight for two scenes. During measurement, we use a spot light that blends in with the surroundings to reduce the discomfort of the laser that enters the field of view. During installation/adjustment, it is equipped with a ``light spot confirmation mode'' that allows you to check the detection position with good visibility even at long distances. *Visibility varies depending on the material of the detected object, surrounding environment, and distance. *Measurement of the detected object is not possible when using the "projection spot confirmation mode". Pinpoint detection with visible light laser (class 1)

■Narrow field of view detection

The spot light is smaller than that of conventional long-distance sensors such as distance setting types, so it is possible to measure the target location with pinpoint accuracy. *Beam diameter is a typical value. Please be sure to check whether there are any problems in the actual installation environment. *It may be affected depending on the material and distance of surrounding objects. *The beam diameter of the EQ-500 series is a typical value for EQ-501 and EQ-511.
