About This Product

■Main functions of CrystalKit

CrystalKit is a program that allows you to construct various types of crystal defects such as point defects, grain boundaries, and precipitates in a very short time. The program begins by inputting single crystal data directly within CrystalKit or by loading a structure file for use in Tempas. Any final structure generated using CrystalKit can be saved as a Tempas or CIF file for quick simulation of diffraction patterns and high-resolution TEM images. The program can handle up to two types of crystal structures and generate interface structures. Geometric grain boundaries consisting of thousands of atoms can also be generated in just a few minutes by setting the orientation relationships of grains, bond interfaces, and zone axes. CrystalKit allows you to freely rotate crystals and display them from various angles. It is equipped with a wealth of tools to identify planes, measure angles and distances between atoms, visually move atoms, delete atoms, add new atoms, and more. Tools are also available to create interfaces with arbitrary paths. You can also delete multi-atom fragments in bulk and paste them into the structure. One crystalline structure can be a precipitate of another. Once the desired structure is complete, the unit cell (unit cell) can be defined using the "Define Unit Cell Tool". Defined unit cells can be exported as Tempas structure files for further work. CrystalKit can display up to five types of atomic bonds between atoms, and you can easily change the bond color and atomic radius.
