About This Product

Tempas" implements HRTEM (high-resolution transmission electron microscopy) image/diffraction simulation functions, as well as STEM (scanning transmission electron microscopy) and CBED (convergent electron diffraction) calculation functions. This program is a completely rewritten code of the previous version "MacTempas", which has various functions as well as quantitative image comparison and structural refinement. Since Tempas uses QT as its development platform, it is now possible to create the Windows version at the same time as developing the macOS version. Tempas maintains the functionality of MacTempas, and anyone who knows how to operate MacTempas should be able to operate Tempas without any discomfort. Additionally, the graphical user interface (GUI) has been completely rewritten, adding features to Tempas that were not available in MacTempas. Many operations utilize the CPU's multiple cores, so various operations are accelerated by the number of cores.

・High-resolution TEM images and dynamic diffraction patterns with complete multi-slice calculations ・High-resolution STEM images with complete multi-slice calculations HRTEM images calculated with “live” control and wavefront (exit wave) as a function of various simulation parameters. ・Calculation of kinematic SAD pattern and Kikuchi pattern ・Kinematic CBED pattern calculation ・CBED pattern using Bloch wave calculation ・Ring pattern ・Automatically calculated HRTEM continuous tilt image ・Complete quantitative comparison of simulated and experimental images ・Refinement of structure and microscopic parameters based on quantitative image matching ・Reciprocal space table, surface spacing and angle calculator ・Complete image manipulation ・General basic image processing ・Advanced image processing functions, real space, reciprocal space filters, masks, noise filters, etc. ・Peak detection, peak fitting, and grid fitting ・Template matching function for pattern search ・Replacement of real space and reciprocal space and distortion analysis ・Crystallographic image processing ・Quantification of diffraction patterns ・Averaging by motif extraction and noise estimation ・Image calculator with complete reverse Polish notation ...In addition to the above, it is also equipped with a variety of functions.
