About This Product

Type 4949 -type surface microphone is ideal for precision surface sound pressure and is particularly suitable for car applications. Since the 4949 type can be installed directly on the body surface of the car, it is ideal for measurement in a wind tunnel test or in a narrow space such as a car firewall or bottom. ■ Usage examples ・ Measurement of noise on the glass surface and narrow space ・ Wind tunnel test ・ Low to medium sound pressure level of noise measurement ・ Flash mount (composition of the surface) ・ Connect to CCLD input By using the optional mount pad, you can easily attach a microphone when the body surface is curved. Although small, the 4949 type is a durable and stable micro hone. All metal parts, including microphone housing, diaphragm and back plate, are made of titanium, ensuring very high corrosion resistance. To minimize the wind noise of the microphone itself, the diaphragm is located on the same side as the microphone housing. The static equalization vent is located right next to the diaphragm on the front of the microphone. This arrangement is important because the micro hon is exposed to the turbulent pressure fluctuation. The 4949 -type surface microphone has a built -in Deltat loan team to connect to CCLD input. The sensitivity of the microphone is optimized to ensure a good noise floor and measure high sound pressure levels without clipping. Micro hons are compatible with IEEE 1451.4 (TEDS), recognizing microphones from afar and can read the proofreading sensitivity. The 4949 type surface microphones are based on the new microphone technology. With this technology, you can get uniform and high stability like microphones and preamplifiers.
