■ Advantages to use TEDS microfones The TEDS microphone has a cartridge's individual identification information and load sensitivity in TEDS, and the biggest advantage is that when connected to the measuring device, this information is automatically set. The mini CD attached to many TEDS microphones contains individual characteristic data, and can be used to correct frequency characteristics. In addition, cartridge and preamplifier are sealed as a unit in a clean room to avoid incorporation of impurities such as chili, which causes aging of performance. All TEDS Microhons, excluding TEDS template 4957 and 4958, are provided in a template that meets IEEE 1454.4 V0.9. If you specify it at the time of purchase, you can provide IEEE 1545.4 V1.0 template free of charge. ■ Data transmission In general, there are two ways to transfer data from TEDS chip to analyzer.
