About This Product

■Summary

"HP Barrier" is a fireproof construction gasket with excellent flame retardancy, sinterability, low smoke emission, and shape retention. Sinterability, shape retention during fire, and low smoke generation are extremely important factors in fireproofing and construction gaskets. Conventional silicone rubber for fire protection has gaskets that turn into ceramics when burned, but when this happens, the gaskets crumble and fall off, making it easy for flames and smoke to enter through the gaps.However, with this product, the gaskets turn into ceramics when burned. However, it has excellent shape retention after ceramicization, and as a result, it is possible to reduce the intrusion of flame and smoke due to the creation of gaps. In addition, due to its low smoke emitting properties, it is possible to prevent the amount of smoke emitted by the gasket itself, making it effective in securing visibility in the event of a fire. Features

■Flame retardant

It has a high oxygen index of over 50%.

■Sinterability

It is sintered into a ceramic form at high temperatures. Also, dimensional changes during sintering are small.

■Shape retention

The weight remaining after sintering is high and the occurrence of gaps can be reduced.

■Low smoke generation

It emits much less smoke than regular silicone rubber, making it easier to maintain visibility in the event of a fire.
