About This Product

■Summary

"Mushitight®" is a revolutionary extruded product that has a repellent effect that reduces the intrusion of unpleasant pests and the like into gaskets. Utilizing the unique multi-layer molding technology of ``Sveup®'', the repellent effect occurs when unpleasant pests come into contact with the surface of Sveup®, which has a repellent effect. In addition, by combining expensive chemicals with our "Sveup®" technology, it is possible to produce repellent products at low cost because it is possible to use only the necessary parts. The drug used is not an odor-producing type like naturally derived products, but it uses etofenprox, which has an extremely low impact on the human body. It is possible to maintain the effect for a long time (approximately 5 years, depending on the usage environment etc.). We can accommodate any material made of polyolefin resin. Features

■Repellent effect

・Evaluation sample: 5-year equivalent product (accelerated test conditions = 60℃, 1,800 hours) ・Test results: It was confirmed that the insect repellent performance was maintained even after 5 years.

■Sustainability

The drug stably oozes out little by little over a long period of time, and a small amount of the drug is always present on the surface. The surface amount and sustained release amount of the drug has been tested to be equivalent to a 5-year equivalent product.

■Safety

The drug used, Etofenprox, is particularly safe for humans and pets, and has been used in a large number of products. The amount that would be 50% fatal if ingested by a child weighing 15 kg at one time is equivalent to 21.4 million pieces of this product (one piece = 50 mm square, 40 μm thick), so it can be said that the effect on the human body is extremely low.
