About This Product

MULTI INTELLIGENCEⓇ (hereinafter referred to as MI) is an IoT device that can monitor temperature, vibration, and force during machining processes such as cutting and friction stir welding (hereinafter referred to as FSW) in real time. MI has a built-in temperature sensor in the cutting tool/FSW tool, an acceleration sensor, and a force sensor wireless transmitter/receiver inside the holder, so it is possible to wirelessly measure the temperature, vibration, force, etc. of the tool tip/probe tip. It's possible. We provide support in a wide range of areas, including abnormality detection and sign detection in cutting and FSW, tool life determination, and selection of optimal machining conditions. MI is available for sale and rental. We also offer contract testing services using MI. Please take advantage of it. ・Display and record temperature and acceleration data during machining in real time ・Amplifier, A/D converter, controller, and wireless transmitter/receiver are built into the tool holder. ・Intuitive display and recording software This is a device that can monitor tool temperature and vibration in real time during cutting. It is also possible to measure temperature while applying coolant. (Inner-through compatible) It is also possible to measure the temperature of the tool tip during drilling, which cannot be measured with infrared thermography. Vibration can be measured by simply holding the tool to be measured, and information on the process up to breakage can be monitored. We can also handle small diameter tools for which data detection is difficult. We realize "visualization" of machining phenomena and support IoT conversion of cutting machining, selection of optimal machining conditions, and trouble analysis.
