About This Product

BAYS series extra wide flooring ``WOLD'' is a flooring that adds richness to the space by making it wide like a single board.

■Differences in the appearance of flooring due to differences in width and length

The number of joints and wood grains in flooring changes depending on its width and length, and these changes greatly change the way the space looks. Products that are wide or long have fewer joints and wood grains, creating a sense of spaciousness and tranquility in the space.

■Reproduce a single board with craftsmanship

Products that are wide or long are made from large logs, which makes procuring logs difficult and expensive. Therefore, WOLD applied the veneer lamination technique used in furniture to achieve the richness of a single piece of wood while keeping the price down.

■Unique taste made from natural wood

Natural wood has a variety of expressions that are not found in industrial products. Not only do they have different colors and patterns, but they also have the same characteristics, such as ``knots'' that form during the growth process of branches, ``bark'' that forms when the bark is rolled up, ``teri'' that gives the wood a unique luster, and ``yanisuji'' that forms when tree sap collects. Each piece has a completely different personality. I wanted people to enjoy this uniqueness, so I created it in its natural state. In addition, we have created a flooring that will change over time so that you can enjoy changing the flooring while living there.

■Uses UV coating

UV painting is a painting method that creates a coating on the surface of the flooring. The membrane improves durability and makes it more resistant to scratches and dirt. By doing so, you will have to wax less frequently and it will be easier to clean and maintain. In addition, we kept the gloss as low as possible and retained a natural texture by using UV painting with a gloss value of 5, which is the most matte.
