About This Product

Since ancient times, cypress has been used in important buildings such as Horyuji Temple and Ise Grand Shrine, and has been considered the best building material. Among these, Kiso Hinoki, which grows slowly in Kiso's climate where temperatures are low throughout the year and especially cold in winter, has fine annual rings and is of the highest quality in terms of grain, color, luster, and aroma. We continue to focus on ``solid solid wood'' because we want to preserve the original beautiful wood grain and fragrance without any seams. When using solid wood, problems such as warping, cracking, unruliness, and gaps occur because solid wood expands and contracts with changes in indoor temperature and humidity. It comes from the characteristics. Even if the moisture content is lowered to avoid deformation, the original texture should not be lost. Using a unique drying technology using natural drying and an original dryer, ``FREBIO'', a solid wood board made from Kiso Hinoki, was created that maintains a uniform moisture content.
