This is a type of retaining ring for shafts called "radial mounting type" that is installed perpendicularly into a groove cut into the shaft. It gets its name from its shape, which resembles the letter E, and is also called the E-ring. It is fixed with three protrusions on the inside and is used to position parts and prevent them from falling off on shafts. There is also a bow type with spring properties. The stack type, in which a fixed quantity is held together with tape, is easy to store on a special stand and can be easily removed one by one using an installation tool, contributing to increased work efficiency.
