■What is a magnet holder (permanent magnet holder)?

A magnetic holder is a device that uses magnetic force to attract, fix, and hold objects. Neodymium magnets, cobalt magnets, alnico magnets, etc. are used and can be selected according to the application. Most magnetic holders use metal holders to concentrate the magnetic flux and strengthen the magnetic force. There are also products with threaded metal holders, making them easier to install in machinery and equipment. We offer magnetic holders in a variety of sizes to suit any application.

■Features

・Black dyeing treatment (*) improves rust prevention function ※Black dyeing treatment: A method of forming black rust on the surface through chemical change and preventing further rust. ・Easy to install because there is a screw hole on the opposite side of the suction surface ・By covering the magnet with a metal holder, the adsorption force and mechanical strength are improved compared to a single magnet. ・In order to increase the adsorption force, it has a magnetic circuit that concentrates the magnetic force, and even though it is small, it exhibits a strong and uniform adsorption force. ・We handle three types of magnets.

■Neodymium magnet type

This is a magnetic holder with the strongest adsorption power. On the other hand, the adsorption power weakens when heated, so it is not suitable for use at high temperatures. Also, its corrosion resistance is inferior to other products, so many products are plated. Because of their strong magnetic force, they are often used for fixing heavy objects and for small items such as precision equipment.

■Samarium cobalt magnet type

Although their adsorption power is inferior to neodymium magnets, they have excellent corrosion and heat resistance and can maintain their performance even in high-temperature and chemically harsh environments. For this reason, they are used in aerospace, research facilities, and other locations where high reliability in performance is required.

■Alnico magnet type

Although the adsorption force is inferior to neodymium magnets and samarium cobalt magnets, the temperature dependence of magnetism is small and it maintains high magnetic force even in high temperature environments. It is also characterized by its high physical strength compared to others. Widely used in sensors, measuring instruments, educational applications, etc.

■Intended use

・Fixing workpieces under high temperatures such as welding and painting lines ・Workpiece holding and holding for electrical discharge wire processing machines ・Fixing drawings, rulers, etc., and attaching them to jigs and tools ・Attachment to mold etc.
